Shelby Walker faced Fujin Raika in Tokyo, Japan for the WIBA featherweight championship. Raika successfully defended her title and won by TKO in the second round on May 23, 2004. Walker was also a fighter in mixed martial arts and is best known for scoring the fastest knockout victory in women's MMA history when she won by KO over Angela Wilson in just five seconds on May 3, 2003. Walker passed away on September 24, 2006 due to an overdose of pain medication at the age of 31.
