wow, worked great, thanks for the tip. I've been looking at this damn light for four years now. The stealership wanted $75 just to diagnose the problem. What a bunch of cock sucking hootnanny.

Excellent, and worked like a charm. For those of us with big hammy fingers, it's a lot easier if you take off the lower dash cover (2 screws, 2 snaps) and the metal cover underneath it (three bolts). The connector is still up a ways, but now you don't have to work around corners to get there.

thanks! it totally worked on a 2003 CRV, too. for those that need to know, the fuse box is under the steering wheel to the right, and the yellow plug is behind some wires just left-of-center looking straight in. kinda hard to get to, though -- i needed to push down on the little latch with a screwdriver.
