Me testing out my new Go Pro HD cam, swimming in the sea with a first person and 3rd person camera perspective, both above and below the surface. More videos probably each week (open to crazy requests and different angles too).
Bumped into some fish at the end so I filmed them too!
New 8gb card arriving tomorrow so I will be shooting in full HD, only used the lowest setting this time around.

  • Hey, is the waterproof casing that comes standard that lets you immerse it into water, or is it something else? I'm about to buy one of these things, but I'm not entirely sure which one is OK to be used underwater.

  • @chaosworshipper

Yeah, you get 2 backs with the camera, one with holes in for dry land use (records sound) and one waterproof back. You can even use the camera without any casing.

The backs just pop off, you have to give it some force though - lol, don't be scared you will break it, I remember the first time I tried to switch them.

  • After watching some of the side by side comparisons with the original, and the new Hero 2, I still like the look of the original. What is your opinion, as you may have used them both. ~Kev~

Hi, not had chance to see the new one. I read that it has cleared up a lot of the low light problems. I mainly use mine for cycling 'streetzips' channel.

  • Was that the original lens it came with ?

  • @codkiller100

    Yes original lens.

  • @chaosworshipper It's waterproof to 60m, but it's totally useless underwater. You need to buy a flat lens. Google "gopro underwater focus"..etc

  • any1 else find it weird breathing while watchin this vid lol

  • @Hogo1 look up on youtube "DEMA 2011 go pro" and you see the new flat lens casing : )

  • Good example of the slight blurry nature of GoPro cameras underwater.

GoPro really needs to come out with an attachable flat lens that corrects this.

  • @GoProUnderwater Thanks. :D
