mbutler1966 is right. First of a driver very rarely dies on circuit. They usually die in hospital or dead on arrival. Only if the death is obvious like decapitation is a driver decleared dead on circuit. With this accident I was listening in to Race Control radio channel on a scanner and heard the kilo code for Dead-Uncertified being used by the CMO. Resus was tried and efforts continued whilst he was medi-vaced to hospital and put on life support. This is more to do with organ transplant
@mbutler1966 there is no way you are a marshal there. you can't even spell. Everything you wrote is completely inaccurate; not to mention that it is fictitious.
please stop trying to boost your ego by making people on the internet believe stupid stories you make up.
Race drivers walk away from some colossal & violent crashes (e.g. Kubica at Canada in 2007, Caffi at Monaco in 1991, Kenny Brack at Texas Motor Speedway in 2003 etc.)
...it seems so terribly unfair when something so freakish claims their lives, as happens here. Just terribly, terribly unlucky.
@tsharpmac420 Yes, Jones was the innocent victim of a marshall who was crossing the track with a fire extinguisher.
Unfortunately, the marhsall was crossing the track at a crest that was blind on approach. When Jones hit the marshalle he was struck in the head with the fire extinguisher he was carrying. A terrible, tragic mistake by the marshall.
@god604 ...Well wouldn't we all ??????
