  • Doctors need to focus on natural heeling. Aren't scalp injections steroids? This seems to be related to hormones. The glands may not be functioning right. I realize it's genetic, but having a genetic predisposition for something doesn't mean it's not preventable or correctable. If a person is allergic to peanuts. Avoid peanuts. This may be a case of an allergic reaction. Clean up the diet. Check iodine levels. I've seen castor oil/iodine re-grow eyebrows in less than 2 months.

  • I'm a 15 year old girl and I first got this when I was 4, my hair grew back but fell out again when I started middle school(terrible timing!) My hair is completley gone and it has been like that for 3 years now going on 4. I use to have to get 50+ shots in my head every month but they weren't very effective:(

I get really sad having to go through wig to wig,

but God wanted me this way and I'm happy:)

Everyone out there with this condition is beautiful!:)

  • It must have been difficult coping with it. Especially when that thoughtless teacher did what she did. People can be so cruel, but their time will come.

  • @DecTM im 13 i have it to

  • im 13 and have it, but i live in america. ive had it since i was 8 i only lost patches of hair on my head . ive always had realllllllly thick hair and i wanted it back so i went to a dermalologist and she gave me injections in my scalp. that was april 2009 my hair grew back! i have like hecka thick hair again but i still get small patches on my head i go in every 6 weeks to get injections still i have on under my bangs that shows and i hate it, i clip my hair up

  • I hope they find a cure for this soon.
