Uh. YOUNG ADULT. It even says 14 and up in her books. She goes to schools and stuff to talk about her books, so yeah.

Well, in the book store they are in the youth or the teen section.

they're considered kids books?!?! I'm fifteen, but when I read them, all of my teachers flipped out and said "You are too young to be reading such books!"

Personally, i am a big ellen hopkins fan. i've read them all, and am still surprised at the endings (try Identical, if you haven't. the ending will really take your breath away).
Ellen's next book, Tricks, is suppose to release in August 2009. and the 3rd book in the Crank, Glass epic is going to release a couple months after that (it's called Fallout).
