When the video starts the baby elk is about to be wounded by the wolf but gets away and some distance. Soon after hearing the baby Elk crying the grizzly bear decides to go after the baby elk and no regard for eloquence or the wolf. At the end of the video the elk gains some distance but ends up on shore with wolf waiting on the train tracks and the grizzly bear eventually catching up. Not sure exactly who wins but its definitely not the elk.

  • @lnghrnswmmr Thanks. @All... I appreciate all the comments and glad most of you have enjoyed the video.

  • Thanks. This is in Banff, NP four miles away from the main camp sites of Lake Louise. We saw this just off the side of the highway.

  • 1 - You must try to never interfere on the natural way of life. Wolfs and Bears hunts elks, that happens all the time. So the boy and the girl was excited about seeing something that nobody here will ever see.

2 - If you have a feeling in your heart telling that you would like to see those 2 people smashed by a truck: yeah, you need treatment.

  • @jpguard That's a little harsh. But I do agree that laughing is quite an odd reaction to this situation. It's a very, very odd reaction.

  • Survey says: 1 of every 2 people would love to see insensitive people wearing spandex be eaten by a mammal, I am on this that likes this idea, animals need to eat.

  • @iekuper what date was this shot on?

  • I wonder what would have happened if I did not run across the bridge filming...I'm the guy in the red jacket that alongside the bear scared the wolf off.

  • @jpguard Lighten up bro, its called nature.

  • @jpguard Animals eat other animals, thats the way of life. If it wasnt the elk distressing now, it would be the bear distressing later.
