  • Wow, they didn't even check to see if they're cutting where the cross beam lies, scary. But I guess they trust Alpine so... I guess the bracket should be outside the headliner for non-sunroof vehicle and for those that have sunroof with sunshade bracket, partially inside?

  • I Wish All Cars Had The Same Headliner Frame As The Renault Scenic!.....

  • How do you determine where the roof beam is where the headliner needs to be cut? That's my biggest worry as I have a sunroof also.

  • Man, even though I can do all that work, I rather have someone do it for me. But cutting out the headliner scares me because one wrong cut and it will look so ugly. Power stuff is easy but I just think that it should be done by guys who does it everyday like 10 cars or more at a time. Now, I would make sure that the power cable is soldered and heat shrinked, not crimp tubed. And I do not like using electrical tape where I can avoid it.

  • hey bro I have a 15" i put in a lincoln towncar.. it shows good with the engine off but once I crank the car up the flipdown gets alot of distortion. we tried moving the ground and power wires to diff locations and still the same thing.. do you think it could be the rca's? what would you recommend trying? thanks for your time

  • Im about to put a 15" in my 08 dodge ram... anybody got a list of thing I will need! Send me a message

  • @jongotti2001 Because they are not designed for that extra load. The only proper way to do it is run a new line to the battery protected with a fuse.

  • Why didnt u use the doom light for the power

  • just installed a 7" flip down and a ps2 in my car its really simple just a faf with the headliner but it helped

  • @Hidframe Because most people take thier cars to a shop to get them serviced anyway, why have it accessible to the average consumer when they don't even know what a fuse is.
