@rcmx07 Thank you so much for injecting your political soap box into a tread and video about Christmas for the average Joe living in the D.C area, I assume you've never been to the area? Could you even point it out on av map? I hope you get nothing and are separated form your family tomorrow. I might add congress doesn't stay in D.C on Christmas, or most of the rest of the year, so don't blame the great city of D.C for poor "local" politicians all over America.

Isn't EVERY day Xmas in Washington D.C.? I mean don't we taxpayers give so much to those bureaucrats in exchange for so little? usdebtclock . org shows just how greedy they are, as they've also bankrupted us with debt. Ho ho ho! We've been pimped!

I agree -- this version is painful. The original is much better. Now that I am living in California, I realize how much I like this song. It brings back great memories of how peaceful DC is on Xmas Day.

Please do not confuse this version with Maura Sullivan's original - which is far superior and not so annoyingly over orchestrated.

I used to live in DC and this was a special form of torture that they saved for all of us who lived in the area - this song bring's back memories I thought I had managed to repress

I used to hear this song on a local (Baltimore) radio station but haven't heard it in several years. Many times I almost ran into a telephone pole, because it would have been quicker than turning the volume down. Corny, but thanks for posting. It brought back some memories.
