You probably don't have to use your hands. However since each action is most likely controlled by a kinetic thought, i.e. thinking about moving forward, it helps to actually do the movement. If you were good enough, and the headset was calibrated for you, you could get to the point where you just think the movement instead of performing it (since its known from brain studies that the brain actually fires off the same when thinking about or mimicking actions).

And furthermore--- The synapses can be looked at like this--- a filling up of the bioelectrical component of the physical body, triggered by the wil(sympathetic nervous system) and relax response(parasympathetic)-- Yang and yin aspects to one another. Many ppl would say that these are hardly appropriate titles to relate, but more subtle experiences become possible when these "synapses" you mention are trained to "circulate" throughout the entire system. Cheers...

There are ways to train these synapses youre talking about. Not to sound too fringe, like id be expected to sound on youtube for saying such things.... energy work, chi gong, work with feeling the magnetics of the body of light works big tiome for me in biofeedback. Ive been able to do some pretty awesome stuff with the wild divine game. Looking forwards to getting this product soon.
