Give the Gift of Surgery this Holiday Season!
Poor Cambodian Children at the Children's Surgical Centre don't ask for toys or clothes for Christmas, they just want to be normal. They want the ability to play with friends, run, smile, and look normal after burn injuries. They need surgery, and they need our help.

In 2011, the CSC performed
4000 surgeries, 2600 of those are eye surgeries
12,000 consultations
A few statistics from 2011
35 MEC operations performed...that's 35 lives saved!
127 burn contracture surgeries
114 cleft palate surgeries
193 cleft lips surgeries
31 Acid Burn Surgeries

Poor people all over Cambodia come to the Children's Surgical Centre to receive free surgery they desperately need. The Children's Surgical Centre performs a wide variety of surgeries from complex total hip replacements, Meningoencephalocele's (MEC), facial reconstruction, neurosurgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, ophthalmology, plastic surgery for burns, cleft lips, and many more.

Cambodian people of all ages come to the CSC with nothing. Some cannot even afford the bus ride to the clinic, and a lot go untreated with serious injuries, illnesses and deformities for years until they hear about the CSC or we find these people on our outreach missions. Our patients are often in the latest stages of cancers, have bone fractures that have never been treated, and come to the CSC because they cannot function normally as a result of their disability.

At the CSC it costs
$5 for a pair of glasses to help a child see
$220 is a average cost of rehabilitative surgery
$500 food for around 250 patients and their families per month

Any donation big or small goes a long way here at the Children's Surgical Centre. We appreciate all your help, and our patients could not receive their treatments without the kind and generous donations from our donors.
