  • @Tulpeshare – Make sure the power is disconnected to the oven. Carefully push back the insulation. The wire probably didn’t fall too far. Take a short coat hanger to fish for the wire and lift it back up through the cut out. It’ probably didn’t fall just shifted left or right and is just out of sight. I’ll email you this information and please let us know how you make out.

  • What do I do if one side of the element popped off before I could see the wire? Now the wire is inside and I can't feel or see it! All I see or feel is insulation.

  • soooo not fair. i googled "manuals" " schematics" "exploded diagrams" etc.... spent 10x as much time looking for exactly this than i did watching the video. thanks a bunch man

  • The element in my GE range burnt right in two. This video was SO helpful. I had found some printed instructions on the internet, but they were confusing, and this made it crystal clear.
