Just to update, I went to see the movie last night, opening night, and I was glad to see the theater full. Definitely worth seeing. The Richard Dawkins interview at the end was exceptional.

Saw this movie on 8-17th at a special screening here in KC,MO. Most enlightening movie. The "pseudo-scientists Ph.D's who have their B.S. Piled Higher and Deeper and who hold to Darwinism are just as much into a faith based religion as any Creationist.
David Dawkins, finally pinned down to answer how life began on earth says...that somewhere in the universe, perhaps another civilized race sprang up billions of years before ours and seeded our planet. Aliens Encounters!

Again, comments will not be approved unless they pertain to the movie. This is not a forum for discussing the merits of Intelligent Design. This obviously makes some of you very mad. Sorry. I know... I know... I'm 'stifling debate' and 'guilty of the worse kind of censorship'! Its more that the youtube comments section simply isn't conducive to any kind of real conversation. Go find a discussion forum somewhere.

Christian Post reports that "An "Expelled Road Show Tour" is currently underway and is scheduled to hit 40 college campuses across the country by the film's February 2008 release date."

I agree with evolution, but disagree with silencing those who have differing viewpoints. This looks like a worthwhile documentary.

This is pathetic. There is no research being done into intelligent design. There are no peer reviewed papers being published. The ID proponents are just rehashing centuries old arguements against evolution. None of the arguments stand up to scrutiny.

This comment is a perfect example of the reason I'm limiting comments on this video. Most people that post derogatory items about ID don't even realize what the theory states. Do some basic research before making silly comments. ID is not creationism rehashed. It simply states that design is scientifically detectable. There is plenty of research being done to attain scientifically verifiable tests for detecting design.

To say there are no peer-reviewed papers being published is only to reiterate exactly the premise of Ben Stein's movie. Thank you!

It's circular reasoning. ID is not considered science because there are no peer-reviewed journal papers. Journals will not accept or publish papers submitted supporting ID because it's not science. Catch-22.

In any case, here's a peer-reviewed paper supporting ID that somehow slipped through the Darwinian dogma litmus test.

With all respect,I don't see why you need to refute ID debates, seeing as how the film is meant to spark discussion about it.Why don't you just delete comments that are insulting and immature?
