Watching Janet perform makes me realize why I can't help but to laugh whenever I hear about Britney Spears not being able to dance anymore because she's "getting older"

It pissed me off so bad, because Janet don't get the respect that's due her.........So many female singers (song & dance chicks) has copied the heck out of her!! Britney, Beyonce & so on. Janet & Madonna came out exactly the same time or maybe Janet was first because, her first album came out in "1982". But then again, Madonna gets more respect??! WTF!! Yo!?

@DistantCousin Janet is an International Icon. During this tour she was shaping her career to be the Icon she is today. WHy do you think so many pop stars copy her style? During the 1993-1995 era her star was so big that she was eclipsing her brother and Madonna (at that time because ppl were over her sexual antics after the "Erotica" album). SHe could do no wrong during these days.

@urbanlapixie though i do partially agree with you, britney has hurt both of her knees and the pain killers she is on apparently don't allow her to dance the way she did. i still feel as though she could dance better than she does though.

for some reason. I like the Velvet Rope performance better than this one. She danced a lot more harder on that performance to me and the instruments sounded a lot more better when they do that special dance routine during the song
