In 1983, emerging pop-star Madonna - hungry to make her mark in the entertainment world - approached Martel Vinukurov to direct the music video for her debut single 'Holiday'. Keen to work in the medium though wary of the industry that surrounded it, Vinukurov produced this breath-taking work in which imagines himself -- and us all - desperately, desperately in need of a holiday.
Madonna and her creative management were not happy with the results, and the video was never released.
