These are the most successful ways I've found of lighting my discs and baskets for night-time disc golf. If you've never done it before, playing disc golf at night is a lot of fun.

Different people play it different ways. The best way that I've found is to attach small LEDs to my discs and to light up the baskets with tap-lights, whether standard lights or LED lights. I don't even use a flashlight most of the time when I play alone. The moonlight and other street lights, etc. provide enough light to find my way around the course.

Hopefully this video might turn you on to something you haven't tried before. And if you have played disc golf at night, maybe there will still be some useful information for you. Enjoy!

  • Thanks much for the compliments! The video I posted right before this one is really, really dark... but it does show the discs in flight... If you can make it through all of the darkness. ;-)

As far as hot glue goes. I don't know what that would do to the plastic. Plus there's no on/off switch on the LEDs that I use. So I can just remove the duct tape to "turn off" the LEDs. Let me know if you try any night golf. I'd love to hear the feedback!

  • Great video. Two things I kept wondering while watching this, would hot glue gun or be better than duct tape, and I wonder what that frisbee is going to look like flying through the air....ahhh....guess I will just have to make my own..hopefully you have another video where we see the lighted disc flying. Good video overall!
