The WordPress Amazon Affiliate Plugin can save you lots of time and headaches in putting your affiliate code into book and other product reviews. Getting it set up for the first time can be a bit of a headache, though, mostly because you need to Amazon Web Services credentials, which requires a Geek rating of about 13. In this video, I show you how to install the plugin, where to find the credentials, and how to use the plugin to put a link, an image, or both into a blog post. This video of less than five minutes will save you much frustration, and the plugin will save you much time over the life of your blog.

P.S.: Once you get the plugin installed, there's also a button right over the box where you enter your WordPress blog post or page text with a handy self-explanatory menu. Check it out.

  • Wow, wish I had seen this about 5 hours ago. Would have saved me some time. I had to import pics from Amazon into my graphic software, crop them, group them, save them, upload them to WP blog, then add my Amazon associate link. Going to download this plug-in now. Thanks a bunch!!

  • Thank you so much for this video! I would never have figured out how to do this without you.
