what your saying makes sense dude because mark henrys ass had like a 38 inch vert i actually seen him dunking before off vert, i just dont know if ronnie coleman has done plyo or any jump training along with just lifting.
I got a friend who can shit on me in weight room squats 500 something pounds, but thats all he can do is lift he cant jump an inch off the ground lol

@bmchoszen15 Your friend may have a limit strength, but he is not explosive. The problem here is his "rate of force development." Basically he cannot recruit the muscle fiber in the short amount of space/time that a vertical jump takes place. That combined with unfamiliarity with the movement, and lack of plyometric ability are limiting him from using his strength to jump.
