This is the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay from the new CB line of pedals. Mad Professor is now offering all the pedals you know and love in pcb versions. Same legendary circuits, same top-shelf components, now mounted on a printed circuit board for quicker build time and a much friendlier price. The Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay was designed as an easy-to-use ambient delay in the vein of a classic tape echo. It was also designed to be very friendly with distorted tones, working equally well before or after your dirt pedals, or in an effects loop. With delay times from 25 to 450ms the Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay can handily conjure up a touch of slapback, pristine arpeggiated repeats, or infinite oscillations.

  • hey andy, my guitar guru, whats the difference in tone between the handwired one and this pedal, does the "lower" price of this one sacrifies the performance of the product ?

  • @BoKaUm88 - No difference that we noticed. Same circuit and components, just mounted on a circuit board (rather than handwired) for ease of manufacturing. We have a video of the handwired version as well, if you'd like to compare for yourself. Officially, Andy likes this pedal a lot.

  • Loving the sound of this pedal but i live in Australia so there is no way to try before i buy so just wondering, how does it cope with real heavy distortion like that used in metalcore songs?
