**Watch in HD**

Reupload of the series 'Heroes and Villains'. Here is the episode about the events leading up to the Battle of Sekigahara and the struggle to become Shogun and ruler of Japan.

"After the Taiko's death, Ieyasu has his son sent away which upsets Mitsunari. After an attack by Mitsunari, Ieyasu's son, Hidetada, takes his men to find Mitsunari but he escapes. Ieyasu forces Mitsunari into exile and begins to take control of the government. However, when another lord begins to rebel, Ieyasu convinces Hideaki to join him in battle only to have Mitsunari turn him later on. Eventually the two armies meet and the battle begins, with Hideaki unable to choice which side to fight for. He eventually chooses Ieyasu and they win the battle, taking control of Japan."

Enjoy! ;)

  • Im literally getting goosebumps when he says "..his name was Tokugawa Ieyasu.."

  • Correction. The shoguns were not considered emperors of Japan.Thats only the emperor.the Emperor in eastern cultures is a holy man and is the spiritual light of a country, not someone who has to descend down to bloody violence. That was the job of warlords. So technically the Emperor never changed, not even during the sengoku period. But defacto control of Japn lied with the shogun and theultimate unifiers of that country.

  • hate those western betrayers and the head of the western alliance is at a hot spring with the massive army

  • @Laranzava Um....no. Listen to the two ''Warriors Code'' things again at the start. They basically stipulate adaptability, flexibility and ''seizing the moment'' as it were. The only point of contention is the one he brings up about loyalty doubts.

  • So tokugawa Ieyasu basically bitch slapped all the samurai codes of honor and became Shogun o_O

Lesson learnt, be disobedient and anal.

  • nagata spam even in real life come on!

  • @simonandfaerk IKR!

  • @orangelightining yea man, best game ever!

  • @klippeneliseuson - Ok, nerd, like it matters. It's called a convenient rounded number.

  • @orangelightining

A shame that Tokugawa is one of the hardest campaigns in Shogun 2 :(, but probably an accurate reflection on how Ieyasu won through diplomacy rather than pure force.

  • the japanese man look very good in the past! now they look like gays!
