I know there has already been a buttload of corrections going on here, but I'd just like to make one last one; the DVD came out around a year after it was filmed in 2000.
Al hasn't put out anything live since then. Unless you've been watching some of those interviews with short live clips.
All the same, Al's parents passed a bit over five years ago. I'm pretty sure the last time they opened for his show was sometime in 2002.

That movie was made in 2002, a short while after Running With Scissors was made.
That'd be why there's no Poodle Hat or Straight Outta Lynwood tracks on it.

?? Are you thinking of the Weird Al - Live! DVD? Then, yes, his parents were living, when that was filmed, and they did a little introduction...but...they've been dead for quite some years

Wrong, in his new Concert it shows his parents opening the act. about 4 months ago.

Trademark, he did this last year in Chicago too, one of those songs he has to play even if it's just in the medley.

i admire him for including ´trapped in the drive thru´ in his shows cos it must be really hard to do it live. at some points he hardly has time to breathe!
