Legendary Detroit Congressman, a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus and current House Judiciary Committee Chairman, John Conyers, took a few minutes from his busy schedule to walk across the street to meet about two dozen Tea Party Patriots gathered to protest Joe Courtney, big government and a number of other issues. Conyers cordially greeted a bunch of tea partiers.
Conyers was part of a health care and jobs forum sponsored by the Norwich chapter of the NAACP at Kelly Middle School in Norwich.
He met the founder of the Dump Dodd movement and was asked how it was doing. His reply is here for all to see.
