Footage from the obscure port of the Simpsons Arcade Game, on the Commodore 64.
Obviously, it's not as fast, or as fun as the Arcade game, but what do you expect from a game that was release at the peek of the C64's lifetime. I mean, the C64 has some great games, but The Simspsons Arcade game just doesn't seem suited for the C64. It's a shame that this, as well as the DOS version, where the only ports.
@madcapoperator Still got that disk too! Even worse was Strider.

@rockfistus They even got the wacky waving inflatable clown head in the game! Such a badass port for the lil' ol' 64.

@rs35502 Why the hell could they say a genesis version would be inferior to the arcade game, yet release a console with limitations such as the commodore 64? They should have at LEAST released a sega cd version. Now I have to go into my basement with a straw and a quarter to play, *sigh*.

Looks so freakin horrible and slowed down compared to the arcade game, the way the music sounds also makes me want to shoot myself. This reminds me of when nintendo tried to emulate the arcade game of teenage mutant ninja turtles. That failed freakin hard as well.

Horrible. Just horrible. Guess this was golden back then, but now it's just golden showers.
