Actually, a Squad is a Rescue that transports the BLS calls within its batallion. It still has paramedics, they're still ALS capable if they need to upgrade during a transport, and they still have fire equipment. EMTs can be found on any truck, if you see them on a rescue, they're either brand new firefighters, or they've been on a LONG time and never wanted to become medics, the EMTs drive the rescues/squads, if they're on them.
