  • @Anathar88 That's a fair comment. Thing is, if you have three grown sons all with a good claim to the throne (even Geoffrey if he'd been able to raise an army), and an infant or underage son by your second wife -- I don't like the little boy's chances, no matter how legitimate he is. And you're dead, so you have no say in the matter.

  • @micheinnz How does that work? Henry's the king, he wanted his youngest son (John) to inherit the throne instead of the eldest (Richard). I'm sure he can choose which of his son's would succeed him, even those by Alais. As long as they're legitimate, I don't think it would matter.

  • @suzannesadiiqa It didn't matter. Any children she bore him before they got married would have been unable to inherit the throne unless they killed his three sons by Eleanor. Considering one of them was Richard the Lionheart, I don't like their chances. :)

  • "My finest angle. It's on all the coins."

Coolest line in the film :)

  • so Alys is like a prostitute for babies

  • How is it that Alys hasn't already had any of his children?

  • I wanted her clothes too they seem a bit big/long for her.............

  • DId they win awards for Hepburn's wardrobe. It was sensational.
