This has got to be the most realistic love song ever. Its not all soppy, its true. Sometimes you don't want to be in love with that person. But you are, and you can't live without them, he works it into the song so well.

@Rohan2300 Uh, not really. I suppose that's a possible interpretation, but the previous lines - "Now I’m afraid there’s no cure for me/No dose of emotional chemotherapy/Can halt my pathetic decline" suggest that he's falling further and further into the affliction that is love.
