@ThunderHeartXTC69; I had read somewhere about the off screen affair between JB & RW, and saw the movie with Stella Stevens and wondered if JB and she had also enjoyed a similar relationship, but haven't found any info. If they had somethig going, I'd certainly like to be brought up to date.

This movie not only made history as being the first to depict a black man making love to a white woman, but the principals involved were outstanding. Jim Brown might well be considered the most impressive "black hunk" hollywood has ever produced. As for Ms. Welch, perhaps only Marylin Monroe could give her a run for the money for a combination of beauty and sex appeal...

the star trek one ...counts too( white guy,black woman )/.......but i think the JIM BROWN ...one predates all of those.

@togonumber I think this film dates from about 1964-1966....I think Star Trek gets credit where Kirk kisses Uhura in 1967/1968...
