@Alakaz4m What a fail comment this is. It's invisible, you moron. Because Gilberto was known to be a rare defensive midfielder since stole the ball most of the time before the other team achieved some momentum. And just by using his body to unbalance the other player's running.
But I gotta agree that this video blows, as most of us came here to see some technical defending.

flamini replaced him in 2007- in fact he didn't just fill in for him, he took his position, and in truth was far more effective, despite my admiration for gilberto. for a while it looked as though we weren't able to replace flamini, and then song stepped up, and has been the best holding midfielder in the league for the past couple of seasons. so in short i couldn't disagree more with you on that. but who cares we're both gooners right?
