a cat first get's "in heat" when she is around 6 or 7 months old, and ready to mate for the first time. All the meowing and rolling around is suppose to attract male cats. basicly, it's when a female cat is horny

Letting female cats being in contact with the sunlight while in heat just makes it worse just so u know.

Unless you spay them ofcourse :-)

thats not a cat in heat, my cat is spayed and she still behaves like this, your cat is near the back door, she wanted you to give her a pat then let her out into the yard.

by the way please spay your cat.
