Test driving the Chevy Volt in Vancouver. Three Chevy Volts are in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics. As a member of the Vancover Electric Vehicle Association I got to drive one. It's peppy. Lots of smarts, too. But costs too much @ the predicted $40K or more. Otherwise, great car.
@vistarox you can buy an awefully lot of gas for the $20,000+ more that this costs compared to a regular car. by the time you make up for it, the battery probably has to be replaced and you're adding expense right back on.

Initially the Volt is expensive but overtime it saves money because it costs less to operate.

@85funnyguy no. Only on electricity. there is a gas engine that only recharges the battery but does not affect the wheels.

its an ok car, give me a car while does NOT have to go to a GAS station for GAS.....like Tesla
