  • how can u put elctrical tap man is gonna melt it common man it doesn' make sense

  • dont worry about the tape i know is gonna melt. The penny still be lift a few mm from the chip. If i see that the penny is touching the chip all the way down. i cut a little square of copper n put it on the center of the chip then put the penny on top. u know I WILL POST A VID LATER WHEN I GET TIME RIGHT NOW I JUST TIRED.

  • @shuan44 this works you like it or not. this is like if you put an extra jacket on cold weather.

  • my HP Dv2000 wont power up will this fix work?

  • Penny trick works. Put it in my laptop last night and it has been running nicely on a full load for over an hour. I can barely feel the amount of heat that used to be there.

CAUTION: If you don't know anything about laptops and aren't good at taking things apart, don't do this. This is very delicate work and you can easily break a wire of a chip. I broke a wire, but thank god it can be fixed/ordered from HP.

  • my laptop has the same problem :/

  • thats a nice video..can u tell me is it a permanent solution or a temp fix(if temp how long it gona work)...plz help my email id pirate.gemi@gmail.com

  • fue en carro de la chrysler un automovil 300 jajajjaja

  • hey what is the name of the cream u put on top of the chip

  • i put air pads under my laptops no problems.

  • ka9chim9bo - good job. I never like to comment on something without trying it myself and trying it more than once. I used your tip on a few laptops after the standard dust removal and new thermal grease still kept a high temp. Pennies are fair heat conducters and copper is a very good conductor. DETRACTORS Google it yourselves and use his tip to perhaps come up with your own (better) solution instead of making negative comments without any constructive input / feedback.

  • to all those who trying to fix this without opening your computer try this method keep ur computer on and put it inside a backpack and close the backpack and leave the computer inside while its on for around 30 to 40 mins then take the computer out unplug it and take the battery out really fast and with TWO fingers pressed and hold "Enter" for about 30 seconds then put battery on and turn computer on and quickly press on F7 as many times as u can, it should turn on. this has worked TWICE for me

  • Dude my laptop is cool at 110 it's hot when it hits 185 which it does when making YouTube videos
