Ghostbusters Proton Pack Stream in After Effects

Just a quick go at producing a proton stream in after effects thats tries to find a way of animating it without the use of waves and to find a more random look to the stream.

I ended up using the Advanced lightning to produce it. with a fairly subtle particle stream blended with a vector blur inside the beam to give it an energy look.

Not perfect at all but I hope to get closer with every try

If I get enough requests I may even do a quick tutorial so that some one may be able to build on it.
