Moms Against Climate Change believe that our children will pay the greatest price if Canadas political leaders fail to take urgent decisive action on global warming. In early December, we hope to get the attention of political leaders by projecting the faces of thousands of our children onto giant walls in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver under the headline, Stephen Harper: Remember who youre representing in Copenhagen.

We invite you to take part by uploading a photo of a child you care about to the wall. To upload a photo, please visit: www.TakeActionOnClimateChange.com

We want the faces of our children to remind politicians to do the right thing when they vote on this issue at the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen, December 7-18th, 2009. Lets seize the moment before its too late.

  • If you truly believe that reducing your carbon footprint is an offshoot of a Nazi tactic, then what about the litany of evidence that we are treating our environment like a toilet? Shall I point you in the direction of the Alberta Tarsands? The mounting rates of cancer? The floating islands of plastic in our oceans? etc, etc, etc...

  • Rainforests are increasing? Are you insane?

  • @LaxLune I looked up the average amount of tornadoes per year in the U.S. and the number of Strong (F3-F5) tornadoes per state is virtually the same today as compared to the 1950's, if not actually lower. (for example: 1955-1959 Avg. 38.4 per versus 2005-2009 Avg. 23.8). The highest year was 1974, and that was during the "New Ice Age" ridiculousness.

As for earthquakes I can't find any geological service that has ever tried to tie i earthquakes with "changing climates".

  • @Snively68 Dear god! Do you watch the news! There is a new natural disaster every other day! I'm living through one right now! The city I live in is going through a one in 300 year flood. All the tornadoes, earthquakes flooding wierd weather. It's all because of the changing climates!

  • @LaxLune Now where do the statistics for "more prominent and frequent" come from? This is really stretching it considering no one can even predict when an earthquake is about to happen.

  • @Snively68 Not responsible for them just making them more prominent and frequent. There will always be earthquakes and natural disasters they are just becoming worse and happening more often.

  • @LaxLune Hang on, you mean to say that climate change is now responsible for earthquakes? Come on.

  • you dont need trees, algae produces most of the worlds oxygen :)

  • I would join them in a heartbeat. The world knows were killing it. Japan's earthquake/tsunami just proves, it's fighting back.

  • @soccer4life911 Celebration Guns by Stars. This is the most incredible band you will ever here. (They're also from Montreal <3)

  • @Snively68 Showing what my future is going to look like. MACC are putting them in the commercial, adults are putting them in this environment. I'd rather be in the commercial depicting it than the years I'm gonna have to put up with not being able to breath and my children dieing of cancer around me. Think about it.

  • this shit is stupid and nice vid
