Check high tension lead clip

Spark plug dirty/incorrect gap

Dirty air filter

Water in fuel

Fuel flow at carburetor - check needle valve (?)

Check flywheel keys for damage

Check compression & ignition points

Muffler damaged or clogged

Bent crankshaft

Governor linkage broken or out of adjustment

Bent carburetor needle

Poppet valve sticking or burnt (?)

  • @th19940305 This lawnmower belongs to my dad but I use it to cut client's lawns. I do regular maintenance like an oil change, new starter rope, and blade sharpening.
