PSPscene - DEAD HEAD FRED - SONY PSP

This video shows a psp slim running "DEAD HEAD FRED" via a FS monitor for video output.

Well, it's a crazy name for a game but it's a whacky game!

Fred was dead but is brought back to life by a scientist who looks like my dentist, only thing is, when he was killed, he had his head removed as a trophy.

A very different game, one that has you chuckling along with glee as you work your way through the goofy storyline.

The graphics are good with plenty of color and fair detail to enviroments.
The characters in the cutscenes are very well drawn and all have a personal character, which helps you believe this rather zapped out storyline.

Fred has different interchangable heads, a bit like worzel gummage.
Each head offers different functions that help you to complete missions in the game.

Sound is put to good use, especially the voice acting. sound effects are pretty good with plenty of whacks and pows when your involved in the action.

controls are not my liking, I've never been a big fan of key combo pressing to win a fight, this sort of approach has been applied a bit to often.
Normal button popping is their to loosen up an opponent, then the key press combo kicks in to finish off (god of war style)

dead head fred is a crazy affair, that you will either love or loathe, it's so difficult to rate such games.

One for all the head bangers!
