@TeamRocket2010 Your'e right! The villain was the voice of Gus Cuzak, who also did the voice of Blutto for the Popeye cartoons until he passed away in the 50's.

saw this at AWA 2011 panel of doom it was great hearing a whole room sing this lol

The beginning of the cartoon looks as if it was supposed to be silent? (Interesting since it leads right into the characters singing!) The animation style very much reminds me of the Felix the Cat silents. Guess the animators were still very much in that frame of mind, since it was only 1932 and all.

The only Bouncing Ball cartoon with a villian.

This wasn't a "Screen Song"; this was actually a promotional film for Oldsmobile, DISGUISED as one. Max Fleischer occasionally produced "commercial" films for various companies at the time {i.e. "A Jolt For General Germ", for Lehn & Fink's "Lysol" in 1930; "Finding His Voice" (featuring Ko-Ko) for Western Electric in '29}.

My first car was a 1974 Olds Cutlass S. My dad had a new 1974 Cutlass Supreme. Olds survived all the trials and tribulations of the car industry since it began but could not survive the idiots who run GM today.
