This DVD-ROM is the first digitised version of The Book of Kells to have been authorised by Trinity College Library Dublin and has been produced by a partnership of Trinity College Library and X Communications. It includes images of all 340 folios of the manuscript — allowing the display of detailed reproductions of each page. Featuring narrations by Olivia O'Leary and Stephen Rea, the history of The Book of Kells is told, with decorative and symbolic themes clearly explained.

The Book of Kells DVD-ROM contains high resolution images of all 340 folios or 680 pages of the Book of Kells manuscript. The DVD-ROM costs €29.95 (US$ 41.95) plus postage and packing. You can also order the Book of Kells screensaver for only €5.95 (US$ 7.50) plus postage and packing.
