I always loved this song. The video could have been better, though. At least they were doing something positive. No hate against the video and participants at all. I just wish more would have been put into it. I will always love Nitro praise music.
@dreamsoflove15 ....level. It's a grave injustice that this weak christian song has 16,800 views, and an awesome tune like "Hydro Aquatic - Beyond Horizon" only has 1000 views, when the song is literally 20 times better!!
@dreamsoflove15 Actually there is one christian dance artist who, even though his music is still weak, it's much better than "Nitro Praise". I think his name is Erik Erikson, and goes by Ultrabeat (not the secular Ultrabeat, totally different person). Search for "Ultrabeat - Pure Heart", and it actually is listenable christian dance! But christian dance music is a distant goal when secular artists like Nitrous Oxide and Hydro Aquatic are cleaning every other dance artist's clocks at the secular
@dreamsoflove15 I would be embarrassed to show this song to someone, not only because the music is so weak, but the words are ripped off a well known hymn, and the people in the video are acting like they just "stepped outta da hoodz yo!". I would much more prefer to show other christians a secular song like "Joee - Angel". 10 times better production, original words that came from the guy's heart (it's a song about his dead brother), and he looks like a normal guy singing when he's up on stage!
@dreamsoflove15 and to add insult to injury, they couldn't even come up with original words. Instead, they decided to remix every single classic hymn to a mediocre dance beat. And to add more injury to that insult, look at the way they portray themselves in this video? The dude looks like a gang banger, and the 2 girls look like prostitutes. This all reeks of some stuffy middle aged men trying to "fit in" to the young crowd". What kind of testimony does this show?
@dreamsoflove15 But even though I'm a decent musician, it would take me weeks to create a song like "Hydro Aquatic - Beyond Horizon" and make it sound similar. So basically "Nitro Praise" is a half hearted attempt at creating dance music. I remember one of their CD covers read something like "We are proud to present great Christian songs with the energy of contemporary dance music that young people enjoy...." I was facepalming non stop! This didn't sound like a labor of love....
@dreamsoflove15 Fine I'll bite. I desperately needed some high quality Christian dance music in the 90's, and believe me, I listened to every christian dance song I could find. "Nitro Praise" was probably the strongest attempt as far as Christian stuff was concerned. But compared to the secular stuff it's weak, very weak. I am not exaggerating when I say I could whip up this exact same sounding tune in Reason in about 1-2hrs and it would sound identical.

I like it. I might go to church if they had this kind of music.

@future303 You don't know what their best attempt was, because you haven't listened to all their music. So probability is a moot point here...
It doesn't matter what or how they sound like, it's all in what's in their hearts...
So, although you are glad you got to comment, I wish you had kept your opinion to yourself...
