Well, "Tears in the Rain" is a great song, but I decided I needed to do a more upbeat Satch tune. This is by far one of my favorites!

I don't intend on playing note-for-note what Satch does, but I try to replicate as much of the musical ideas he uses that I can (read: I can't play all of his solos 100%. =/).

This took hours and hours to get perfect. And even then, it's not fully perfect, the video is slightly off at some parts. But really, this is good enough.

Gah! Another video with my beard-thingy goin' all AWOL! *shakes fist*

Enjoy!

  • That sounds very good and you look so relaxed while playing this.

    I'm trying to play the intro but I just don't get the rythm.

  • @i4m3rr0r Haha, thanks. Yeah, I've been playing guitar for going on ten years, and I spent probably five of them trying to get this song down, and I still make mistakes when I play it. Just keep at it, and you'll get it! :D

  • Great job man,

    you´re using a JS100 r u?

    what do you think about her?

  • @MrPeliys Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I am using a JS 100. It's the best investment I ever made, as it makes my sound ten times better than my earlier guitar (an RG4EXQM1).

  • Great cover man!!! it's very fast n_n

  • Thanks. ^^;

  • nice work!

  • Bad ASS!!

  • Wonderful job!! Rock!!!

  • Aw, nice. If you want to learn something like this, I suggest learning some of Satch's easier tunes.

    Songs like "Starry Night" have a much easier melody to learn, and can help you learn some of his signature techniques (legato, specifically).
