  • @spentonmediocrity

"bla bla bla bla bla blablabala "

blablablabla ?? bla bla bla bla...bla bla !

  • @spentonmediocrity

    bla bla bla bla

  • ...and therein separates Edge from the masses of guitar players.

He instinctively knows what sounds good(surprisingly rare)and knows where NOT to go.

Fortunately there are guitarists who operate outside of blues riffs and "do you play rhythm OR lead" mentality.

Amps are extensions of the guitars and effects are tools of art in the right hands.

The Edge's *music* is often stellar.

"you can sound like this just by using the axefx only"

..that opinion is shared by every go-nowhere guitar player in cover band land. They probably cannot tell the difference between a quality violin and a keyboard too.

Might you tell me how axefx duplicates the sound of a clipping alnico speaker or of cathode biased/tube rectified class AB amp that's being pushed?

Edge has an ear and doesn't need worn out cliches because he has his *own* ideas.

  • The Edge should really be on the Top 10.

  • Dude I love that sg that he has. It's even got the vintage vibrola! Gorgeous.....

  • I'd say he should be on the Top 10, he's brilliant..

  • Yes, the Axe-FX Ultra is amazing... Its like everything you have behind The Edge in this video but only in one unit.
