((**TURN UP YOUR VOLUME**)) A look at how Scooby-Doo may have influenced the work of Steven Moffat as a writer and as showrunner for Doctor Who.

This video essay is made for purposes of artistic commentary on the career of Steven Moffat and not for purposes of commercial sale. The copyrights in the source music, sounds, and images from Doctor Who belong to the BBC. The music, sounds, and images from Scooby-Doo are produced by Hanna-Barbera and are the property of Warner Brothers. No infringement is intended but only fair use. This audio mashup will not be sold. Please buy the music and DVD's of Scooby-Doo and Doctor Who available from Warner Brothers and the BBC respectively.

The low audio level is due to the limitations of Windows Live Movie Maker, which allows volume to be adjusted downward but not upward.

  • Which episode of Scooby Doo has the stone statue?

  • @FairviewStudios11 That segment was called "A Frightened Hound Meets Demons Underground," from episode 10 of The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour.

  • This is quite cool. Lots of weird coincidences that might not be just coincidences.

  • @HateburnTheCremator The weirdest thing was finding out that the two theme songs run at exactly the same tempo! Thanks for subscribing.

  • lmfao!! XD

  • Evidence that Doctor Who ripped off Scooby-Doo, hahahahahah.

  • the first time I watched Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead, I noticed how when they were taken over by the shadows, they looked like the alien in the episode of scooby doo called "Spooky Space Kook". [ I watched SD a lot when I was a kid (i'm a 90's child) ] :))

  • SCOOBY DOOBY WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great observations!

  • this is great
