NOISY WIND FARMS

Often people who have never even seen a wind generator tell me that they make huge amounts of noise... Originally this video featured me talking unfortunately I swore or cursed and hence have changed the audio track simply because I was sick of aggressive and un needed comments about my language.

I think the stories of wind farms making people ill sick is ridiculous, just like the phone masts fiasco. They put up a phone mast in one place and there were complaints of headaches and suchlike blamed on the mast before it was even switched on.

Look at Denmark where they completed studies and concluded they had to move the turbines away from people who are getting ill from living in the areas downwind of the big wind farms. This is no joke.

@brandoncotten So far, no one anywhere can even demonstrate that all the wind turbines have had any measurable impact on GHG reductions. No one. Look at Germany. In Europe, the ONLY country to come close to mandated GHG reductions is France and that is because they are nearly 80% nuclear.

In Ontario, the Wind Industry continues to claim that our few/partially used coal plants are killing hundreds of people a year - even though, year after year, our air quality is improving - without IWTs.

@Antithropocentric the visual aspect annoys you? do train tracks, roads, cell phone towers, satellite towers, water towers, sky scrapers, amusement parks, telephone poles? silo's? bridges? I happen to think wind farms are Gorgeous. because i understand what they can do for the future. you desensitize yourself to so many aspects of our landscape but pick up on this 1. Good job putting a lot of thought into the whole picture.
