Fantasmic Part 1

This is part one of the entire Fantasmic performance, April 25, 1997, Disneyland, Anaheim, California. The video begins with a daytime still frame to show the vantage point where I recorded the performance (in front of Tom Sawyer Island). Because of the popularity of the show, if you wanted a good spot, you had to stake your place at least 2 hours in advance. Thus, I recorded this show only once during the 4 days I was there. A couple of points - 1) there are points where the camera drifts out of focus. A nighttime shoot into water spray is a bit challenging for an auto focus camera. To get the camera focus back on track, I had to pan over to some distant lights to the right. You will see this in a few places. And, 2) some audio dropouts are present due to the remaster process. I tired to fix it, but either way, there would be a noticeable skip. So, I left the audio dropouts, at it was the least annoying.
