citizenstand meets Tehching Hsieh (stand day 146)

Standing at the grand opening of the New York States of Mind exhibition at the Haus Der Kuluren Der Welt on August 24th 2007 in Berlin with Tehching Heieh and his performance piece that documented a year of living in new york while staying outside the entire time.
Every day he would document where he walked and how much he spent on food. The first one I looked at randomly happened to be my date of birth and I told him that when we talked. He asked what I did and I told him about my stand videos. He's the first artist I've met that shares a similar philosophy as me. I felt really honored to have met him especially since he says he almost never displays his work. A new inspiration.
