Major Stryker - Land Zone 3

This is my own original play of the 3rd Land Zone level of this great EGA 16-color shmup classic for MS-DOS that was first released by Apogee Software way back in 1993! Up until the mighty Tyrian took the crown as the BEST MS-DOS shmup ever, Major Stryker sported some *truly* impressive 3-way parallax scrolling in only 16 colors indeed!!! ^-^=b !

This game was once shareware, but now it is officially FREEWARE by 3D Realms (formerly Apogee Software), and you can find the game at this address:

This was a fun little shooter for its time. Too bad my mother was too cheap to buy me any Apogee/Epic games :P I played the shareware episodes to death, though...

And yes, Tyrian kind of overshadowed this game, but I thought Apogee's Stargunner was another unappreciated gem.
