Kenny Barron - Well, You Needn't (Thelonious Monk) part 2 Kenny Barron - piano David Sanchez - tenor sax Darryl Hall - bass Johnathan Blake - drums Jazz in Marciac 2010
Amazing! All around amazing players led by the Barron of course. But wow, they sped up a lot. i think it was through the drum solo it must have jumped up in tempo quite drastically. Great nonetheless.
Time was, to get an education of the world's best musicians, one had to afford the price of records which he would take home and listen to over and over and over again. Now we simply punch in a musician's name or category of music played and up comes the best in the world. The rate at which one can improve his or her musicianship is accelerated. Great damn drummer and piano, sax, and bassist.
