I can't get enough of Bjorling's performances - what a great man.

Never forget what great singing is all about.
You don´t get it so much these days.
But this is how it should be and what it should be.

He's really enjoying himself. Fantastic.

This man is amazing. Apparently on the 15th of March 1960, the same year he died, he suffered a heart-attack on the day of a performance in London, however he still sang! This might've sped up his demise which happened six months later but it does tell of his bravery and his dedication as an artist.
Björling, i salute you!

Agree, I think Schmidt's cadenza in this aria is simply divine..I was like "WTF?!" when I first heard the cadenza~ lol... Amazing.
-
Has this guy ever made a bad recording?? Amazing!!!!!
-
He has an excellent Cadenza, something many tenors do not have, others with a good one are Schmidt, Tucker , Peerce and Caruso. Gigli was a beautiful lyric tenor, perhaps the sweetest voice ever but did not have this Cadenza, Bjorling was a fine artist besides the voice.

it doesnt matter if the tenors r good

No wonder Joan Baez is a big fan of this man. Wonderful voice.
