The first time time i heard this great man singing, it was 1994. I didn't know English that time but very few people could in my area could and they use to tell us that lucky dube sings to fight appartheid. A lot of people loved this guy's songs for their melody. when i learnt english i was able to understand the message delivered delivered through his songs and i said, african and africans got a talent. i never met him in person but i hope in heaven. R.I.P brother.

You have never been in Gabon but you can be proud of you coz your music got till Gabon and hasn't let people the same anymore. I miss you LUCKY. Even my old mother who never used to listen this this kind of music reggae is acknoledged you as a very great and special STAR. REST IN PEACE AND MAY JAH BE WITH YOU DUBE.

I first listened to reggae in the 70's when i was a teenager,it was such unique and inspiring music,
I first learned of Lucky Dube's music on the digital music Channel,,it was unlike any other reggae i had ever heard before. Once i started listening to a few tracks,i was convinced this man was a phenom, all i can say is rest in peace brother... you are truly a legend,,and i' am very sorry i never heard of you earlier,than 2009 god bless Africa!! Reggae FOREVER!!
