I did a xinjiang dance too, it was exactly this same song except it was a totally different dance routine.

This is a variation of the song "The girls in the City of Daban". It is close to the 3rd version of the song, an unpopular one. Li Shuang-jiang had a record in the set of "Folks-China"(5CD by CRC-Chinese Recording Company, 1995,[CDD-95-523-527]). The popular 2 versions share the same lyric and similar melody, but rhythm 3/4 and 4/4 respectively.
