Former member of the Stiletto's, a new wave band from 76-78, Jane did enjoy one solo hit apart from 'Taxi Mary' with Jo Jo Zep.
Girl on the wall reached No.13 in Australia in 1984.

She is also an accomplished actress most famous for her role of Margo in the Oz show 'Prisoner' during the early 80s.

Yes Countdown was a great show but luckily we get to relive those days every January ... this years eps were great especially from 1980/81 =)

I haven't watched video hits at all for the last 2 yrs but judging by wot u said it hasn't improved.

Throughout the 90s & early 2000's it was worth watching for the 2 or 3 past hits/classics it would play.

But Rage is def good & has been getting better lately & the playlist is great so u know wot is on each week !!

This is hilarious. Great singing though. Did anyone see Colette Mann (Prisoner Cell Block H), Wendy Harmer, and also Jane turner (Kath and Kim)? I wouldn't mind Countdown coming back as I was too young to watch it the first time or even MTV. Video Hits used to be really good when it first started in the mid 80's. Now it's crap.
